ROAD WORKS

We have recieved confirmation from the RTA that road works will commence 23 November (weather permitting) on Parramatta Road, east of Silverwater Road.

The work involves installing the foundation and erecting a variable message sign. The sign will be installed to provide motorists with advance notice of incidents on the M4 Motorway that may delay their trip (eg accidents and road works).

The work will be undertaken at night from 9.30pm to 4.30am. Some work, however, will take place on weekdays from 7am to 6pm and from 7am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Some moderate noise will be expected, however, every attempt will be made to minimise the effect of this work on residents.

During this work, there will be a short term closure of one traffic lane. Motorists are asked to follow the signs, including reduced speed limits and to follow the directions of traffic controllers. Pedestrian access will be available.

The RTA apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience of residents and motorists.

After Hours Security Escort Service

Outside the regular security patrols, security can be called to atttend if required to ensure staff safety.

A patrolman can be on site at your premises within  30 minutes to safely take you to your car after dark.
